Broken Wings - Mr. Mister

In the 80's there were many sub-genres of rock people like myself gave various styles of popular music/artists. For example, Skid Row was Glam Rock, Air Supply was wuss rock and in the early 90's college rock like Toad the Wet Sprocket and Hootie and the Blow Fish.

Well, this is Douche Rock; it's the kind of song that gives you an almost creepy feeling when you hear it played in public. On top of that, this song gives me uncontrollable spasms and I can only imagine how many suicides resulted from this song.

Venus - Bananarama

I suspect to see a Gillette ad where this song is displayed. To me, this is Gillette's Rickroll.

Turning Japanese - The Vapors

I remember back as a kid singing the chorus to this song. It was catchy to an 8-year-old. But of course now that I'm grown and experienced "turning Japanese" it seems a little creepy in retrospect.

Japanese Boy - Aneka

Something seems seriously wrong with this. I would personally find it extremely patronizing. That being said, the Japanese isn't really producing anything less embarrassing. Case in point...

Died in Your Arms - Cutting Crew

If the 80's was good for anything it's cheesy love ballads and this one is epic. One thing I've learned is if you were in a soft-rock band in the 80's, a mullet and/or mustache was a requirement.
